Description
This coffee delivers a bright and clean cup with juicy sweetness, reminding us of tropical fruit punch and vanilla. Its sweet profile and passionfruit-like acidity lend itself perfectly to filter brews.
After the coffee cherries were de-pulped, they were fermented in plastic sacks for 72 hours. The cherries were then washed and transferred to tunnel-shaped “solar tents” where they were laid on raised beds to dry for 15-20 days.

Producer Information
Raul Flores and his family grew and processed this micro-lot on their farm, Finca La Productiva, nestled high up in the mountains in San José de Lourdes, northern Peru. Conscious and Raul have had productive conversations together about building a long-term partnership, including how to support Raul to access a consistent market for his coffee.
Raul’s family has a close history with the town of El Diamante. Raul’s father was one of the four founders of the town – during the agrarian reform in Peru in the 1970s, they selected the plot of land and began building the town from scratch. Raul’s father was a key campaigner for the Peruvian government to recognise El Diamante as a town, supply it with electricity and build a school and medical facilities. Over the following 50 years, it has become a reputed origin for specialty coffee production.
